Amazon Music To Stream Exclusive GEN MEX Concert Live From Mexico

Today, Amazon Music will present GEN MEX Live, an exclusive global livestreamed concert headlined by Música Mexicana superstars Eden Muñoz, Xavi, Chiquis and Michelle Maciel. This concert is a true celebration of how Música Mexicana connects fans across generations, genres, and nations, such as country music in the U.S. and Sertanejo in Brazil.

Música Mexicana fans around the world can stream the concert on Amazon Music’s Twitch channel and on Prime Video at 5:00pm PT, 7:00pm CT, and 8:00pm ET. This livestream is part of Amazon Music’s month-long celebration for Latin Music Month, highlighting the global impact of Música Mexicana and the genre’s growing influence.

Earlier this month, Amazon Music released the first episode of “GEN MEX, Your Generation of Música Mexicana,” a two-part documentary that traces the global takeover of Música Mexicana through the voices of the artists, producers, songwriters, executives, and tastemakers who created it. The first episode is available now exclusively on the Amazon Music app, with the second episode premiering on Monday, September 30.

Amazon Music also released new Amazon Music Original songs to illustrate how Música Mexicana connects generations. The new Amazon Music Original songs include “Invéntame,” a cover of the beloved Marco Antonio Solís hit, by Xavi, “Desde Ayer” by New Wave Sad Sierreño trio Los Aptos and Texas country star William Beckmann, and “Piensa en Mí,” a Spanish-language cover of the Sertanejo song “Pense em Mim,” by Eden Muñoz.

To join the celebration of Música Mexicana, tune in to Amazon Music’s Twitch channel or Prime Video at 5:00pm PT, 7:00pm CT, and 8:00pm ET to watch GEN MEX LIVE.
