Peso Pluma Brought His Mexican Pride to Amazon Music Live (Show Recap)

After dominating the charts and hearts of millions, worldwide phenomenon Peso Pluma brought his Mexican pride to Amazon Music Live last night (October 19) in Los Angeles.
La Doble P delighted fans in the audience and those at home with several of his smash hits from “Rubicon,” “El Gavilán,” “PRC,” “Bye,” “AMG,” and “Lady Gaga,” among others.
Peso Pluma’s electrifying performance was a part of Season Two of Amazon Music Live. Hosted by 2 Chainz, it airs on Thursdays after Thursday Night Football, and for weeks, this weekly live-streamed concert series has drawn thousands of viewers nationwide. Amazon Music Live has featured all types of musical artists from Colombia’s superstar Feid to hip-hop rapper Lil Durk, and pop-rock sensation Ed Sheeran.
This Peso performance comes shortly after announcing his next leg of his thrilling first-ever headlining tour marking his first South American tour in addition to stops in Mexico. After selling out arenas and delivering unforgettable performances across the United States, he will make his way to cities in South America for the first time to share his hits with fans.
However, before making his way to South America, Peso Pluma will perform at some of the most famous venues in Mexico for the first time since releasing his album, GENESIS. As one of the most prominent figures in Latin music, this wing of his tour marks an exciting milestone for Peso Pluma.
Constantly shattering records and making history, over the last few weeks Peso Pluma has achieved some incredible career milestones including becoming the first-ever Mexican to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. He also closed out the inaugural Festival Arre in Mexico City and was named one of TIME100 Next, solidifying his place as a cultural icon. He is currently the most nominated artist to the 2023 Billboard Latin Awards.
Next week, on Thursday, October 26, legendary American rock band Green Day will take the Amazon Music Live stage to perform hits from their extensive catalog, spanning over 30 years, becoming the first rock band to appear on the show.
