Deorro Hosted Benefit Concert, Donating 100% Of Proceeds To Victims Of Los Angeles Fires

After the devastating fires that ravaged Southern California, leaving entire communities shattered and countless families displaced, renowned artist, DJ, producer and LA native Deorro hosted “Deorro & Friends,” a benefit concert that took place at Exchange LA, where 100% of the net proceeds totaling up over $100k, will be donated directly to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) and local organizations dedicated to providing relief to those who have been affected. The Latin GRAMMYⓇ nominated artist teamed up with fellow Prajin Parlay and Double P Records artists Jasiel Nuñez, Santa Fe Klan, Código FN and Dareyes De La Sierra to help raise funds for recovery efforts in the wake of this catastrophic climate disaster.

The sold-out show, held on Thursday, January 30, drew a crowd of over 1,200 people, united in their desire to contribute to the ongoing recovery. With Southern California still reeling from the fires’ devastating impact, Deorro and his special guest performers used the power of music to not only entertain, but to rally the community together for a cause that was bigger than any performance. The concert showcased an incredible lineup of talent performing hits like Five More Hours, Perdoname and Yo Las Pongo as well as unreleased songs "Belicosa" with Jasiel Nunez set to release later this year.

Proceeds from the event will go toward immediate relief efforts, including resources for displaced families, as well as long-term recovery initiatives that aim to rebuild homes, restore vital services, and support fire victims in their journey toward recovery. Deorro expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response from the LA community, emphasizing the importance of coming together in times of crisis. "It’s an honor to be part of something so meaningful,” he said. “Music has the power to bring people together and I’m proud to see how the community has shown up to help those going through a tough time.”

As Southern California continues to recover from the devastating effects of the wildfires, events like “Deorro & Friends” serve as a powerful reminder of the strength of the community and the resilience of those impacted. With the generosity of all who attended and donated, the funds raised will provide vital resources to help those affected rebuild their lives and begin the long road to recovery.
