Farruko Drops Music Video For "Trote"

Farruko accompanies his latest album release, CVRBON VRMOR, with a new video for the baile-funk track "Trote."

In the "Trote" single and video, Darell joins Farruko, whose smoky voice rolls through verses recounting a similar childhood as he stands on an elevated front deck surrounded by what would be shooters holding trumpets instead of weapons. Symbolically, the extras represent how their upbringing inspired their music and how grateful they are to have created a completely different life for themselves, one filled with safety and security.

Set in a remote favela nestled in the mountains of Brazil, the video features kids playing fútbol, tough teens watching their backs, and cut scenes of the Puerto Rican singer himself as he reflects on his youth, growing up in the hood, how he survived, and expressing gratefulness for how far he's come.
