Grupo Intocable To Join The Grammy Museum's Latin Music Exhibition As They Celebrate 30 Years

As part of the 25th anniversary of the Latin GRAMMYs, The Latin Recording Academy has partnered with the GRAMMY Museum for a new exhibit: LATIN GRAMMYs 25 – A Legacy Of Musical Excellence.

The exhibit will run from September 12 through December 18, 2024. It will be located at the Los Angeles GRAMMY Museum’s second-floor gallery. It will feature over a dozen red carpet and stage outfits worn by Latin stars.

One of these Latin hitmakers is Intocable’s Ricardo Muñoz, the lead vocalist and singer of the Tejano norteño grupo. The iconic group donate an accordion and a jacket that was part of their musical career.

We attended a press conference to celebrate Intocable's milestone, as it also happened to be Intocable's 30th year anniversary in music so they also shared some words about their current tour, 30 Aniversario.

“For 25 years we have had the immense privilege of celebrating excellence in Latin music, accompanying our music creators in their successes worldwide. These exhibits are a magnificent opportunity to bring the magic of the Latin GRAMMYs to the public,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy.

The exhibit will explore the last 25 years of Latin GRAMMY history, as well as the rich landscape of musical genres and cultures that have graced their stage. At the root of the exhibit is an understanding that Latin music has transformed into a massively successful commercial force in the international music landscape over the last quarter-century, with the Latin GRAMMYs playing a key role in its global development. The exhibit will also survey the history of the institution and its most important moments, while also illustrating Latin music’s creative complexity and enduring cultural impact.
