Givēon Celebrates Five Year Anniversary of Debut Project ‘Take Time’
Inside the confines of the members-only club Living Room, an important piece of recent music history was revisited Thursday evening in Hollywood. GIVĒON, a native of nearby Long Beach—hosted an intimate crowd for the celebration of the five-year anniversary of his debut project, the TAKE TIME EP, released on March 27, 2020.
The eight-track EP formally introduced GIVĒON’s yearning R&B songwriting and viscous delivery to the world upon its release. The result was the explosion of GIVĒON’s career. “Like I Want You” and “Heartbreak Anniversary,” the EPs standout singles, have been certified 3x and 6x platinum respectively by the RIAA®.
